It’s Beer Thirty!

Last weekend, when we were outside of Fredericksburg, Texas, we saw these neon signs (plus some friends of ours told us about this place as they have bought several from there).  We decided on two – the one you see in the picture and then another that says “Man Cave”, which Greg has in his shop.  Eventually this one will make its way outside by the hot tub.  We went dancing last night and this was the outfit I was wearing.  Pictures always make you look bigger than what you are.  This dress was actually very flattering.  I got several compliments on it last night too!  I made the necklace and earrings.

Meep Meep

We have seen many road runners on our road, normally when we get close to the highway.  Well, a few weeks ago, I noticed one in our yard and then about a week or so ago, one was in my front flower bed.  I tried to get a picture of it, but I guess I made too much noise and by the time I got the camera, it ran down the driveway – whoosh!

Well, tonight I was sitting at my laptop (which is on the dining room table looking out in to the front) and noticed a road runner at the end of the steps.  So this time, I quietly got my camera and got a couple of shots.

In the country…..

I love it in the country.  It is so peaceful and right now, everything is so green!  I don’t remember having such a wet summer, but I am certainly not complaining.   Tonight, Greg and I went for a ride around the property just to see how green things are so I took my camera to get some pictures.  Did I mention that I love living in the country?  🙂

Excuse me, but I think you have my chair!

Buddy can normally be found in the mornings sleeping with Remi in or at the end of the garage, but yesterday I didn’t see him.  So I went looking for him and found him on the back porch sleeping on my chair.  He stayed there pretty much all day!

Awwwww, this feels good!

Silly Buddy!  I got this shot of him at the end of our garage taking a snooze.  I love the way he is laying, he looks pretty comfy to me.  I took this picture first, and then tried to sneak around the back to come up on him quietly to see if I could get a better view, but that darn cat must have really good ears as he heard me and was looking at me when I came around the corner!

This was one of those “awwwwwwwwwww how cute”  moments.  Buddy and Remi sleeping together in the driveway.  This is an every day thing!

The “Buds”

Buddy is doing just fine after his vet visit (he was neutered and had all his shots).  I just love to see how he adores Remi and this morning, caught this shot of them.  They were sleeping at the end of the garage.
