BIG Screen TV!

A few weeks ago, Greg decided he wanted a bigger TV.  I thought what we had was fine.  Well, that was going to mean we had to alter our entertainment center in order to fit a bigger TV.  He recruited a friend, who makes cabinetry, to come out and assess the situation.  I could tell by the look on his face that he really didn’t want to cut in to our entertainment center, but he said he would do the job.  The guy came back a few days later with another friend of his who also makes cabinetry, and they help each other out with ideas.  After looking over what was going to be done, the other guy suggested rather than cutting away at the cabinet, make a piece that would fit in to the cabinet where Greg could screw it down to secure it and then mount a TV bracket to that so the TV could be hung from it.  I was SO relieved (and the first guy even said he really didn’t want to cut in to that cabinet!).  Plus, this was cheaper!!  The new TV came in Friday and it is all mounted and I have to say I really do like it (Greg kept telling me I would!).  Watching Netflix movies on this thing will really be nice!  We went from a 32″ to a 58″ TV!!!!!!!
