Spring “Cleaning”

After this winter’s blast of freezing rain and cold weather, some of the plants look like they got torched.  The Oleanders and Bottle Brush took a beating so I got “hack happy” and whacked off the dead branches and leaves.  I may not have much color this year, but at least I won’t be staring at dead leaves either!  I left just a few branches on the Oleander just to see if anything will bloom.  I would say 98% of the Oleander had dead leaves on them, and all of the Bottle Brush leaves were dead.  So, guess just start over and see what happens!
